ARE YOU TAKING COMMISSIONS?
Yes, all year except, December, July and August.
WHAT WILL MY PAINTING LOOK LIKE?
An oil painting on linen, unframed and ready to hang. My style is abstracted realism. I focus on the larger areas of color and form.
WHAT IS THE PROCESS?
You send me a photograph or two and we discuss options via email.
I send you an e-contract to sign and an e-invoice.
I began work after signature and payment
I send you progress photos and videos
Once completed the work is shipped or collect from my studio in Connecticut.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
About 2 to 4 weeks depending on size.
WILL IT BE FRAMED?
It does not need framing, the linen edges are beautiful. I can frame it for you in a simple floating frame for an extra charge if you prefer.
DO YOU DELIVER THE ART?
I can only ship the art for an extra fee, or it can be collected from my studio in Connecticut.
WHAT IF DON’T LIKE IT?
I will happily make a minor alteration to the painting, that takes me less than 1 hour to complete, at no extra cost. I want you to be happy with your painting. Any major alterations are charged at $100 per hour. (It is unlikely that major changes are needed.)
WHAT IF I DO NOT WANT THE ART?
In the unlikely event that I am unable to create a painting that you are satisfied with, I will keep the painting and return 50% of the fee. After the painting is received I am unable to offer a refund. The same applies if the painting is a gift.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The paintings are prices by size not time. (plus tax)
SMALL - (3/4” depth)
11” x 14” - $600
12” x 16” - $800
MEDIUM - (2” depth)
16”x 20” - $900
20”x 24” - $1,200
LARGE - 2” depth
22”x 28” - $1,800
24”x 36”- $2,800
30” x 40” - $4,000
Extra large is priced on request
COPYRIGHT
A word about intellectual property. You own the physical item - the painting, but I retain the ownership of the image. Therefore, I can use the image on my website, social media, any print items that I make for example, my business card or postcards and any press. I can even submit it to an online competition. However, if you prefer that I not do that, let me know and I shall honor your request.
